Amin Ur Rehman ("I", "me", "my") built the FocusCost app ("the App") as a free app. This page is used to inform users regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Summary

FocusCost does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you create within the app stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Information Collection and Use

FocusCost does not collect any personally identifiable information. The app does not:

• Require account creation or login
• Collect names, email addresses, or contact information
• Track your location
• Access your camera, microphone, contacts, or other device sensors
• Use analytics or crash reporting services
• Contain advertising or ad-tracking SDKs
• Make any network requests
• Send any data to external servers

Data Stored on Your Device

FocusCost stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Session data: Focus and break durations, cycle counts, start and end times, and session completion status
• Interruption data: Timestamps of when you left and returned to the app during a focus session, and recovery durations
• Preferences: Your chosen timer settings, display mode, and audio preferences

This data is stored using Apple's Core Data framework and UserDefaults. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or any third party.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from within the app:

- Go to the Settings tab
- Tap Delete All Sessions to remove session history
- Tap Reset All Data to remove all data and restore default settings
- Uninstalling the app will also permanently delete all locally stored data.

Third-Party Services

FocusCost does not use any third-party services, libraries, or SDKs. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks and has zero third-party dependencies.

 

Children's Privacy

FocusCost does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages and is rated 4+ on the App Store.

Security

Since FocusCost does not collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of your personal information being intercepted, breached, or compromised through the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
